Upcoming changes to Wellness Centers and 24/7 access
In April, new stereo systems were installed in both Fitness Studio A and B. Three new NuSteps arrived in April as well and two are in the upper wellness with one in the lower wellness center.
Upcoming updates in May will include mirrors being installed in the lower-level wellness center. New flooring will also be installed in both wellness centers in late May or early June. There will be some closures of the wellness centers as the new flooring is installed, but one wellness center will always be open during that time. Please watch for signage which will be posted as notification is received of the installation dates.
New equipment is scheduled to arrive and be installed in mid-June. Front Lobby displays will soon be available to preview what will be arriving soon. Watch for additional information on any closures to facility areas for the installation of the new equipment.
With the changes in the wellness centers, the 24/7 facility access will be ending. The YMCA will be extending hours on Sundays and holidays to allow for additional full facility usage. These changes will go into effect with the reopening of the fitness centers after the new equipment is installed.
Annual Campaign
The YMCA Annual Partners Campaign kicked off on April 11. Volunteers have been calling on past donors and YMCA friends to support the YMCA scholarship program. Each year, funds are raised to support programs and membership for community members that would not be able to participate due to financial hardships. Visit our website to hear stories of those who are impacted by this campaign.
